Astro-Foil in Commercial and Agricultural Applications

Aluminum foil reflects 97% of radiant heat and only emits 3% making it an excellent material to reduce radiant heat transfer. ASTRO-FOIL reflective insulations and R+HEATSHIELD radiant barriers are made with 99% pure aluminum foil. Using these products in the applications below will provide extra energy savings:

1. Install ASTRO-FOIL, ASTRO-WHITE or R+HEATSHIELD over purlins and girts to reduce condensation, prevent heat gain during summer months and reduce heat loss during the winter.
2. Install ASTRO-FOIL or ASTRO-WHITE on the bottom of trusses or exposed ceilings to prevent heat build up in animal confinement and shop areas during the summer and reduce heating costs during the winter.
3. Whether you wrap your ducts with ASTRO-FOIL or line them with ASTRO-SAFE, you will minimize energy consumption by keeping the air flowing through the registers not escaping into unwanted areas.
4. Use ASTRO-FOIL around your Garage Door to keep your interior temperature more comfortable all year around.
5. Use ASTRO-FOIL or ASTRO-WHITE insulation on exterior walls in post-frame and pre-engineered metal buildings to cut energy costs, reduce condensation and prevent heat gain or loss.
6. We've got the stuff! TUFF-STUFF under radiant heated slabs will greatly reduce downward heat loss and prevent moisture transfer. Installers jump up and down over our STUFF. Can't do that with foam board!
